Yep some really nice dresses. And a ton of other class armours that were real nice. Guess they reckoned they didn't have time to work on it so canned them rather than adding them in to GWEN.

yes the concept art points to south american theme.
i think with eotn they removed all of it and reused some of the land instead for the ugly asurans

Even though it's been posted before, not everyone has seen it, so it gives them a chance to see too, I guess.

Been discussed many times before, but yes, it's still very awesome.
My favourite is the Warrior Norn armour, which was supposed to be the big furry bear set, similar to the stuff in Morrowind, but instead we just got the reskinned Charr armour. Not complaining about the reskins, of course, because I actully did like most of them. But these still would have been a lot better.

You guys seriously thought those were good?
The first female one was OK, although it's basically a variant of female necromancer monument armor, but the rest? Jeepers. Two ripoffs of dresses from 80's videos by Bryan Adams, and assorted peasants.

Uhhhhh are those that great? I found mesmer armors to be lacking in the "epic" category. Most are just dressy and fancy things which makes sense for mesmers, but despite loads of gold none of it goes into mesmer armor simply because it's all fancy and dressy things and that is no exception.

At least the first one made it in as Norn armor.

I'm very fond of the armours shown in that thread. Would have been nice to see them make it into the game instead of some of the stuff we got instead.
In some ways some of it did though, Gwen's two (elite) armours look somewhat like a couple of the dresses posted there. TBH though I would have loved some of those options for my characters.
